White
Amanda
White has fifteen years of fund development experience with special
emphasis in Blackbaud fund raising software products, database
customization and administration, management and logistic planning
for fundraising strategies, database conversions, fund account
management and development operations /business processes management.
She has over six years of experience in start-up process analysis
and business planning, implementation of various Blackbaud products,
database system/usage auditing, operational needs assessments,
advanced database management, and customized training and consulting.
For the past
three years, Amanda has provided on-site administrative staffing
and remote database administration for Community Hospice of Texas’
headquarters and five satellite facilities. In addition, she has
provided staff training and managed their special events.
As
CEO of DFW Community Resources, she has led the company
in the provision of a wide array of services for nonprofits including
training, development software consulting, temporary staffing,
media marketing, video production, and IT networking. Her clients
include Baylor Healthcare System Foundation, Texas Women’s
University, American Red Cross, Alzheimer’s Association
of Greater Dallas, Chronic Disease Fund and World Bible Translation
Center. She has taught fund raising software classes and customized
one-on-one sessions and also facilitated numerous independent
user’s groups.
Amanda
is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP)
and is an AFP Chapter Administrator. She was recently selected
for the Madison Who’s Who among Professional Leaders and
has been nominated for membership in Women in Consulting.
Amanda
was raised to “always give back to the community.”
Her mother is the founder of a twenty five year-old nonprofit
in Texas and is still very active in that organization. Amanda
taught basketball and cheerleading to underserved children in
her younger years. The tradition carries on as Amanda’s
daughter has recently started her nonprofit career in the Children’s
Miracle Network.
