I’ve been receiving your On Nonprofits Q&A and I just wanted to say, thank you.  The last three have covered subjects and issues that we have encountered.  I find this Q&A format to be informative and helpful, as I wear many hats as the Founder and Executive Director of APHH.  Receiving this information in my mail is a wonderful resource tool and saves me from sometimes having to search for this type of information.

- Sonia Perez
Founder, Executive Director
Angel’s Pediatric Heart House

CoreStrategies was pivotal in helping the Humane
Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County
critique its organization, which had grown exponentially
in size and complexity. The assignment was sensitive
because it involved years of tradition, strong willed and
entrenched attitudes and a sense of entitlement by many
people involved with the organization. One of the significant
contributions that CoreStrategies brought to the project was
the insistence to reach deep into the organization to get |
to the meat of the issues and flush out responses that
clearly helped identify issues of concern.

The roadmap of how to position the organization from its
current state to one prepared to deal with new challenges
was only part of the assignment. Of equal importance was
the design and implementation of programs to reach our goals.
CoreStrategies helped the governance committee structure a
path to identify and reduce issues into a clear, digestible and
actionable recommendation for change. The final result was a
series of recommended changes, uniquely molded to our needs
and wants, which was presented to the Board for review and adoption.

CoreStrategies did not walk away from the assignment when
it was approved by the Board … critical to the success of this
major effort is the practical implementation of the changes,
which is underway with CoreStrategies on board to assist.

– Dick Pippert
   Chairman, Governance Committee
Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County

The three principals of CoreStrategies, Inc.
can best be described as a Trident of expertise
on nonprofit matters. Individually they are
incredible thinkers; collectively they are experienced
professionals who not only contribute to the discussion,
but nearly always have the best answers to the most
complex organizational situations.  If I or someone
on the staff had a problem or a new idea, it was very
natural to bounce them off one of the prongs. They
have an uncanny ability to trouble shoot and produce
a thoughtful and appropriate solution that is tailored to
our organization.  I endorse the work of CoreStrategies,
they are a nonprofit professional's - professional.

- Cristina Blanco
Vice President of External Relations
Historical Museum of Southern Florida

On behalf of FAVACA I would like to thank you
very much for dedicating your time and expertise
to the people of Haiti. I was so impressed with
how great all of you were and how you were
able to engage all of the students along with
the staff and advisors. I know they are very
grateful for you all coming down and teaching
them, which I think was very evident on the last
day of training when they made their
presentations to you.

– Chris Beyer
   FAVACA Program Coordinator

CoreStrategies helped our organization
develop the necessary internal infrastructure for
creating and implementing numerous initiatives
and campaigns. Having a group with their
combined expertise and commitment
to success allowed for many significant
changes to take place seamlessly.
